Blah blah blah blah ....oh yeah... blah

Is it just me or have the threads taken a down turn lately?
Nothing against religion, I just don't want every thread looping back around to it. (personal preference)
So with that said.... any suggestions for NEW topics ????

i agree, but i'm at fault as much as anyone about this though. I think that the mod's should create a "Tilted Theology" board as well. Of course, the lines are bound to be blurred with the 2 subjects anyway.

platypus, if Tilted Theology got created, Philosophy would die

I have to agree with ps. We seem to have run out of interesting stuff to say.

yeah i never exactly equated religion necessarily with philosophy and i find the topics repetitive after awhile.

now......this is going to sound like I'm just being an ass, but I'll give it shot anyway.....

Try us! throw some new topics our way!!!!

granted, they'll always be a few that don't go anywhere but you'll never find out unless you click that old "new thread" button up top.

I agree with cnor...if you want new topics, please throw them out there.
The ones that are creating them are the ones who have questions.
Religion is one of the most debated topics out there,
but there are more.
However, it is YOUR participation as members to create the threads to discuss.
Not the mods job to keep you entertained.

It's enough to just to keep everyone calm & clear.

Here here, prosequence. Haven't thought of any good topics yet, but doing my bit by supporting all the non-theological threads I can find. (Mainly yours, in fact)

In my opinion, philosophical thought won't really go anywhere, any time soon anyway. My thought has always been that philosophy is more of a study of questions than finding the answers, but the questions are all the same even if the answers change. New topics are then based on perception, and mentioning peception in a philosophical argument is like saying "I can't think of anything."
Ok, not really, but if new topics are needed, then the idea is to think of new ways to ask old questions, I guess.
Man, its 11:30 where I am, am I'm tired. Ignore this post.
