Anyone see the Dalai Lama this past sunday (21st) in Central Park? - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

Cause i sure did.

It was quite an experience, even though the line my friend and i had to wait one was ridiculous.

Once we finally got into central park we had to find a good spot to sit and listen to him speak. And even though we couldn't fully understand what he was sayin, being there was more than enough! The vibe from over 100,000 people sitting in near silence was awesome. Only other place i've seen that many people was at 'IT' this past August, it was a 2-day Phish festival.

All in all i'm glad i went. Not many get to see the Dalai Lama at the young age of 19..it was a worth while experience. I'm not enlightened quite yet, but hopefully i'm on the right path!

So let me know if any TFP'ers were there this past sunday!
