Once Upon A Time....Death
Last night I found myself pondering death. Not that I think about this subject on a regular basis, but it so happened that someone passed away a few days ago. This pondering suddenly hit me in the face when someone I knew felt the depression of death. Questions such as, will we be remembered and what would I have accomplised if I were to die tomorrow, popped into my head. Death is an unstoppable train, but what can I do to make sure I live my life everyday to the fullest? Drink beer and be merry? Make sure I do a good deed everyday? What is it that makes people remember you the day, month, year, after you die?

Um..winning a war, leading a country, being a rock star, something about a messiah. Those are the people that are remembered throughout the ages. It is slightly unrealistic to try and attain those positions, so instead try and affect the people you are closest to by just being a good friend and all that (I know it sounds cheesy, but that is the greatest effect you can have on someone).

What is most important, being remembered or living a life you would be happy to remember? In other words, does it really matter what people think of you 100 years from now or what you think of yourself today?

touché sexymama. Remember that on a cosmic scale, you barely even exist, so don't worry about being remembered. I reccomend doing what will make you happy and avoiding doing anything you will regret. Be very careful to observe what actually makes you happy, looking at the knock on effects, and not just chase after what you think will make you happy and finding yourself unfulfilled, stressed, or like me, painfully hungover. And listen to some 60s funk, soul and reggae. Trust me on this one.
