What do you mean by 'good' and 'bad'? Some aliens want to enslave us, perhaps? Maybe the other ones are trying to help us do the whole evolving thing?

Makes sense, because history does repeat itself... The question is, which side is winning...

How do you know that they're blue, huh? Are you in league with them? Are you the Harriet Tubman of the good aliens? Where is your underground railroad???

Right. Time travel is possible at plus one second per second.

*nerd mode.. ACTIVATE!!*

I would lke to know how infinite mass is defined. What would you have if you had "infinite mass".

Every particle (proton, for example) has an existing anti particle (anti-proton, in this case). a Photon (light), i believe, is defined as a particle that exists as both its particle and anti-particle state at the same time. They are also said to have no mass. So the closer you come to "infinite mass" the closer you would come to this state (energy... i think)? when a particle and anti-aprticle of its type come into contact they annihilate each other. So in theory you'd either blink out of existance or turn into energy. Most likely you would turn into a form of energy, if this is the case you would need a way to change back into a form of matter.. preferrably the form you began as, anything else would be undesireable. And the alternative to turning into energy, not existing at all, would also be undesireable (to me anyway).

Black holes are collapsed giant stars. They arent holes but extremely super-dense and compacted matter. Matter is mostly comprised of empty space, if all that empty space is condensed and subatomic particles condensed (which you'd think would be possible by a massive star collapsing in upon itself) you get a "black 'hole'" (dont take my word on that last part, thats just how i understand it). And yea, black holes can bend light as well as absorb it.. lots of celestial bodies bend light though. Astronomers use the effect of bent light by gravity to view distant galaxies, its called a gravity lense.

***this section is actually on topic***
I can see how time travel forward would be possible, but i think it would be distortion of time, like in the TV show Andromeda. Surrounding time/space can be slowed down in a pocket of sorts, like that created by a black hole, but time outside that pocket would move at it's "normal" rate. Intense gravity would probably destroy any life form though if left uprotected.

I can also see the possibility of existing in a state "outside" of time/space where you would literally be everywhere and at every time at once, where/or (you) can slip in and out of any point in space/time. .....talk about playing God.

So to answer your question: Yes.
***end on topic section***

What i would like to know is.. can gravity be used to slow light? If you can slow down light by gravity, could you then speed up light by gravity? much the way planetary gravity is used by NASA to accellerate/fling spacecraft etc out to mars and beyond? If so "the speed of light" is moot, and my brain hurts.

I would go into this field and do work on Einstein's "Unified Field Theory" and other stuff if i didn't HATE DOING MATH WITH EVERY FIBER OF MY BEING!@! Not to menton fear of being killed by the government or being abducted by aliens... weEEeEEeeEE!!

*powering down nerd mode... it is now safe to shut off your computer.*
