i've heard people say it's from jesse ventura to nietzsche.


can anyone shine a lil more light on this?

Googling the phrase doesn't turn up anything. I'd guess that your quote is modified from the original.

I don't think it is nietzsche. I could be wrong though.

It's not witty enough for Ambrose Bierce. It sounds more like Marx to me.

Doesn't flow well enough to what I would think a professional quote-producer would put out. You know, people like Bierce, Twain, etc. Probably either a butchered rendition of what some good wordsmith produced, or, more likely, something some hack uttered in a vanity piece.
