so overall, money can't buy happiness...
"Fill the void in your life with a product" well, maybe a delusion of happiness, tho i can't think of a clever little thingy like Hanxter has done.... I sawn this nice little documentary about epicurus and his philosophy on happiness, and this advertising company had this really clever idea of a picture of this beautiful mansion it was selling, and in the corner, like they somtimes put "batteries not included" on kids toys and such, they had "happiness not included". i thought it was extremly clever, mainly because it was so true. |

whys that?
a house is a building out of materials such as concrete, bircks, wood etc all quantifiable. a home is built by family relations (or the people you share the house with), memories etc all qualitative basically there is this pattern, or notation that you can only buy tangible, quantitaive things (hence a price tag to value it) but it can't buy other intangible, qualitative and abstract things. All those mastercard adds use this idea. If something is priceless, then it can't be bought by money. i just thought of another one, which may be apt. It can buy food........But not a meal |

I'll have to post that on my ceiling above my bed so its the first and last thing I see each day. (The first part)
Hanxter is that your work? It really has my head spinning. The first part is so true, but so is the last. Which overall isnt a pleasant thought; but it seems to be the way things are. I strive to evolve to what I consider a higher mindset to be, but the deep seeded programs I have going on are so centralized around money. I wonder if Shaolin Monks have a happy life.

I'm reminded of a skater friends mantra, "Less is more. Stay pure. Stay poor." As a Communications Major in college, I should be the happiest and purest man alive someday!
