I finally had my son! His name is Aric James and he was born on Tuesday, July 18th at 3:53pm. 7lbs 5oz and 20" long, and he's my angel... I just had to share my wonderful news!! It's been a week and the time has already gone so fast!

That is wonderful news! Congratulations! Kiss his little nose for me (I just love baby noses).

On a side note, is Aric pronounced like Auric, i.e. latin for gold, or more like Eric? Either way, it's a cool name.

I like the name - I worked with an Aric years ago -- salt of the earth guy -- couldn't have asked for a nicer person... Good strong name :)

This mom thing is definitely way different than anything I ever expected! Just when I think he's becoming a little predictable... boom.. he changes it. I think he's just exercising his authority and power haha. I love it though, and I would do it all over for him.. without the eight hour epidural. :)

Wow, that's great! I've never talked to you but those baby pics are great.. my favorite is the baby sleeping on the daddy, also sleeping. I do think someday I'll have kids. Thanks for posting about your experience. :thumbsup:
