Creating Threads: A Primer (MUST READ!)
When you are creating a thread based on an internet article, there are guidelines which we do expect to be followed. Link to the article. Quote the article below the link. You may quote the entire article or quote only pertinent sections of the article, but be sure to quote something. Most people don't feel like going to a new site for every thread they open. Include your own opinion. "What do you think about this?" is not an acceptable way to start a discussion. If you feel an article is important enough to have a thread created about it, then you must have something to say about it too. Let us know what you think. Tell us why you find it interesting, what about it makes you happy, what about it upsets you, etc. We're not looking for an essay on it, but you can certainly come up with more than 2 sentences. you can edit your OP and ask another moderator to reopen the thread.
