Google Conspiracy?
I found a video online which is kind of a conspiracy about google and how it will merge with Amazon and a bunch of other stuff. The video is trying to "predict" the future of Google.
The video can be found at http://oak.psych.gatech.edu/~epic/ I am not sure how to take this video but I guess it is entirely possible. I am curious to see what other people say. (I think this is the right forum for this) Edit* Sorry for the repost. I did use the search tool but looked for only Google, Amazon, and Googlezon. I did not use the word Epic, I didnt think to use it. Also I didnt go to the general discussion board today. Sorry again.

I like it. It's a cool set up, and I find google to be much more use friendly and reliable then anything I've ever used. I'd trust them with my personal information (more so than I already have - Thank you gmail!)

I saw this a few months back, it's very interesting. The future of A9 hasn't been revealed yet, and that adds to my curiousity of the future.
However, Just recently, about a week or two ago, google very quietly released personalized homepages, with the ability to add your gmail account and customize your news sources into one. I'm sure that's just a start of the page - http://www.google.com/ig I wonder what the IG stands for though...

Wow. Reminds us how many deals go on everyday with huge corporations that we don't know about.

i am going to register "EPIC" and force Google to change the name of his monopolistic media center...
I believe that the video is too paranoid, because that is the obvious step of a company that want to give its customers a better service. I have read that the concept of a massive amount of customer is no longer in use. What is significant right now is to reach the particularities of every person. |
