I suppose though it's good that magazines are bringing the issue up, seeing as half or so of America doesn't think evolution happens. |

I have a question I like to ask creationists: Do you like Shrimp?
At this point, I generally get to refer them to Leviticus 11:9-12 and Deuteronomy 14:9-10. Jesus had a lot to say about hypocrits, but nothing about the origin of species (or gays, for that matter.) Becuase Daddy said so is an argument that shouldn't be taken seriously by grown ups, folks.

15 Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox. 16 Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly. 17 He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together. 18 His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron. 19 He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him. 20 Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play. 21 He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens. 22 The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about. 23 Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth. 24 He taketh it with his eyes: his nose pierceth through snares. But really all creationists point to is the part about having a tail like a cedar. They don't talk about this huge "dinosaur" being able to be shouded by reeds or having bones of iron (?). Creationists also talk of the Leviathan (not sure where mentioned) as being proof of a ocean dwelling dino, but again the descriptions are ambiguous and vague and open to interpretation.

Hmm, the guy seems to be nuts, but the only interesting thing I did see was the thing about dragons. I don't see it as "proof", but it is at least something to think about. Who knows, maybe there were a few dinos here and there during that time, and we just haven't found the remains yet.
That being said, I can't say I am worried about any dinos stepping on my house.
