I think that for the person that I read about that said that their house was haunted by a woman that had kids.....some body told me(as I happen to belong to MANY ghost hunting groups on yahoo) that you can speak with them or straight to them...but, it doesn't mean that they will consent to go....you could directly tell them to go to the light....which is what I have repeatedly heard on the Art Bell radio show....that is when they do "ghost to ghost" shows....I have taped a lot of info on it.....I think that there are some spirits that are "highly spirited" and just do not want to leave...they like where they are at....
One thing is try taking a tape recorder...with a blank tape...(a NEVER before used tape (fresh from it's store wrapper) and when you talk to them, they will or might talk back to you.....later.,...play it back....see what you get......here is one sight that might just help you. www.ghostpix.com....these people are a group (The G.I.S.) and they do what they do for interest ,and learning.....they do not take money or anything...and they have a wonderful ghost site....filled with photos as well as E.V.P.'s.....(recordings) so check it out!!!
I have lately had "wee ghosties" (that I have wanted to stay with me....because I love kids, and work with living children!!) the wee ones like to play slight tricks on me....they turn off my alarm clocks..so I miss getting to work on time...so I am going to have to "address" them big time......I was late this morning...and it was because I set my alarm, for 8:15 a.M. and I guess that they somehow thought "gee, lets let her sleep in!!" not so cool when you have a J.O.B.!!!!! I once had four different types of alarm clocks...set for the same time...and they all didn't go off!!! What a huge pain!!! Naughty kids!!! But, I like them....sometimes when I am washing the dishes., they tug on my shirt....and playfully...because it is sometimes more than once....and sometimes with my hair.....so it doesn't bother me...just surprises me a bit!!! It's kind of sweet.....

So, I just need to have my "grown-up" talk with them......and put out some ground rules,(that is what one person told me this afternoon).
You could always tell your ghost to head for the light....because there is soo much love there..and more than likely the children that she is looking for ,they just may be waiting for mom!!!

or just her the rules of YOUR house now...so that she knows....and that if she wants to "love" a child again.,...to maybe watch over your little one...some ghosts are pretty wonderful from what I have heard.....check out: some books by Leslie Rule.....(Crime writer Ann Rule's daughter) Her books are entitled: "Ghosts Among Us" and "Coast to Coast Ghosts" She has some wonderful stories in those books....which she has researched...also another ghost person I liked and heard on the radio was Echo Bodine....She has books as well!

I don't care to record by any means. I personally see it as intruding. Especially with the whole camera idea. But this even goes to recording in hopes to hear them. For all they know, they're saying it because they know you can't hear them.. i dunno. Its merely that they might not be speaking english, so why expect them to do so? I've come across spirits and yeah you can talk to them and they can understand.. but their replies won't be quite as direct as words. Going to the light is something you can say, but that also depends on just who you're talking to. Telling a Demon to go to the light when you first meet them doesn't help anything... but it could get them to not mess with you. But yeah, I've 'spoken' with demons. I'd actually speak out loud while thinking it... somewhere with that they understand me. They on the other hand would just do little things that I'd pick up on and I'd respond to that.
Although it may be the fact that with spirits I can be tele-empathic.. if I can feel their emotions and interpret that with what they're doing.. I dont' really need to hear a voice.
