strange phenominom
okay...here's the deal... something is wrong with me, chemically, magnetically or somethin..and here's why i think so, but can't figure out what specifically.
my dad can't wear watches, or pretty much anything electronic for that matter, they die, brand new watches completely stop, or start going backwards...weird freaky stuff... here's my deal. since i was little i've noticed that when driving around in cars at night, i've always been mesmerized by the streetlights, watching them go by etc. etc. then i started noticing things, there would be lights out every once in a while, faulty bulb i'm sure, and we'd drive under it and poof it goes on, or the exact opposite, if it was on it'd turn off. i made comments to my parents, and they came up with the "oh it's the circitry, timing, sun setting...the angle of the headlights..blah blah blah" so i took it as thats what it was, untill it happend when i was in other cars with other people, at other times of the day. it got to the point where i could point it out to people like...1. 2. 3. ON and it turn on.... it's a little creepy...has anyone had similar experiences or am i just nutz?

Thats pretty cool dude. Maybe it's the beginning of something like X-Men. You can turn on/off light bulbs. Magneto can move anything metal and Jean Gray has telekinesis. :-)
You could find a way to manifest the power of turning off lights and use it to shoot aross a room or something instead of being under it. That would be cool too. |

We are all Organic Batteries....perhaps there is a chemical imbalance( if indeed it could be called such) that is creating a magnetic, or electrical field.

i believe in another thread someone said the the whole light turning off thing is that the light from the bulb reflects off you and back to the sensor tricking it into thinking its daytime, and thus turns off.. but once you walk away.. light is no longer able to be reflected into the sensor as well.. it was on before you were under.. so when you left the old condition has returned.
The watch thing.. I dunno.. thats weird. I also can't help ya cause I dont' wear watches

I had a mate who had the watch thing, he said it was due to having a higher static charge than most people so it messed up watches, not sure the truth/scientific background behind him saying it but thats his excuse heh

Are you sure you weren't driving home at dawn...
when the lights go out in the morn? Actually yours insn't as uncommon a phenom as you think, we all give off EMF - some just more intense than others. Learn Reiki and you can channel it for good uses esp. healing others. Honest.

your mind works on electronic impulses, your brain is basically an electromagnetic field. if part of your brain is active it could be secreting a hormone which would allow you to conduct electro-magnetic waves to disrupt electronics.
however, due to the laws of physics, you would have to maintain concentration on a light to turn it on and keep it on and it would most likely be very draining on your body seeing as how the amount of electricity going through your body is miniscule in comparison to the voltage of a streetlight (so something would have to be broken down to create the energy) yes that is introspective skepticism.
