Now, there is always room for some healthy scepticism. You can be a sceptic, disagree, and offer more mundane explanations for supernatural or strange experiences without being an asshole. If someone posts about a haunting in their house, they're perobably worried about it. Don't mock, call names, or ridicule. If you think that a lone gunman did kill JFK, state it rationally and give evidence, don't just tell us to go put on our tinfoil hats and hide in our bomb shelters. The same is true in reverse. If you think that Elvis shot JFK shortly before he and Jim Morrisson moved into Hitler's secret moon base, you should probably back it up with at least some evidence in order to avoid looking foolish.
