bloody mary

ok, personnally i think it's whack. but two nights ago, me and a bucnh of friends were just messin around nd we said bloody mary like 10 times. the next morning i had, for lack of a batter word, a wound on my shoulder covered with dry blood. wierdest part is i can't remeber getting that wound on by shoulder. i'd say it was a cut but it was more like i hit a sharp corner but i didn't hit a corner at all that night.

back in the day, "bloody mary" used to be the cool thing that no one would try. kids would swear they saw "her" but you know it's bullshit. I would say Bloody Mary is bullshit, but I've never actually tried it because it requires standing in front of a mirror with the lights off and chanting. that sounds creepy.

Sometimes you can stratch yourself to blood in your sleep. I regularly wake up with new wounds.

Wow..I remember "Bloody Mary" back when I was in grammer school O_o. I did not try it because I heard girls scream and I got a little freaked out and walked away.

I remember doing Bloody Mary. The childlike knowledge of what we expected to come would mess with our minds and create us to see things that weren't even there. It was manifested in our minds, plain and simple. I liked the chilly feeling of being scared!

First, no i wasn't drinking, but I'm not saying that I wasn't smoking though.

And second, I am a deep sleeper (I could sleep through an earthquake) but i sleep in the middle of a big bed and i don't toss or turn.

And again let me restate that i do think it's whack, but here I have this wound on my shoulder that's still sore, if you poke it hard or hit it, and it's what 3 days later. just a little something to get your heads spinning

In 3rd grade this one guy had me fucking scared shitless of bloody mary for months, bastard. It was almost impossible for me look into a mirror or even go near one. I was in constant paranoia of Bloody Mary all the time. I couldn't sleep becuase I thought I going to get shredded in pieces if I slept. NOT funny.

Of course now I know it is complete bullshit.

I saw this on FARK a while ago. A pretty interesting article concerning the mythos of Bloody Mary, among other things and how they are effecting the homeless children in Miami. http://www.miaminewtimes.com/issues/...5/feature.html

I had the same thing happen in about fourth grade. At a friend's birthday party where about 5 of us stayed the night and the birthday boy's older brother scared the living hell out of us with that story except he didn't call it Bloody Mary, he called it Mary Worth, like the Comic Strip character. That night one of the kids wet the bed and had to go home and I had nightmares for months. He described Mary Worth's appearance to us in detail and years later I saw her! It was my future Mother-in-Law! No Shit! To this day I have a hard time looking at her! or being in thje same room as her, but I have to know where she is and what she's doing! LOL!

Bloody Mary? Thats Hide and Go-Seek tag with a modified theme... wait that was Bloody Murder... technically I find that to be worse.

Sounds freaky, but I'm a deep sleeper and wouldn't put it past friends to stage such an event.

I saw something about it on the x-files when I was a kid, and I tried it that night. Unfortunately nothing happened, which severely disappointed me.

i always thought she would come out of the mirror and kill you because she was hung from the fan vent in the bath room because the ppl in her town killed her cause her child was found murdered and they blamed it on her because the town thought she was a witch or some thing like that. I would do this with my friends when i was little, I wasent that scared cause nothing happened but that dident stop me from scaring my friends lol to this day when my nieces asked about her I told them what i was told.

It's a very creepy way to spend a couple of seconds but it's bullshit. I have two questions for you... 1) Were you drinking? and 2) were you drunk?. The thing is, i get cuts all the time and have no idea how i get them. I have a scar on the back of my arm and no one knows how i did it, we all assume bloody mary did it though <<<eye roll>>>

Oh I remember Bloody Mary from the elementary school days. I never did it, but this one asshole bully kid that everyone hated tried it and we scared the shit out of him. The toilets were in a portable outside, and he thought he was a badass so he went in to try it. We blocked the door from the outside and started hitting the walls of the portable after about ten seconds of him chanting. He really changed his attitude after that incident.

Holy shit. When I read their explanation of who they think Bloody Mary is, it sent shivers down my spine. What a bunch of fucked up kids with hyper-active imaginations.

Quote:
This is the secret story shelter children will tell only in hushed voices, for it reveals Bloody Mary's mystery: God's final days before his disappearance were a waking dream. There were so many crises on Earth that he never slept. Angels reported rumors of Bloody Mary's pact with Satan: She had killed her own child and had made a secret vow to kill all human children. All night God listened as frantic prayers bombarded him. Images of earthly lives flowed across his palace wall like shadows while he heard gunfire, music, laughing, crying from all over Earth. And then one night Bloody Mary roared over the walls of Heaven with an army from Hell. God didn't just flee from the demons, he went crazy with grief over who led them. Bloody Mary, some homeless children say the spirits have told them, was Jesus Christ's mother.
Wow. That is just so completely fucked up. Wow.
