Ok.. did you read my first post in this thread? I stated that Psychic does not mean you can read the future or any of that shit. I have quoted myself just for you

Psychic doesn't mean what they can do, it just states they have an ability with their mind. Future Psychics are the ones that we see on TV all the time... They say they know the future and they also just want money. If they were true, they'd put their abilities to better use, like become a detective or something. Maybe a Body Guard (think Unbreakable). Things like that. But all those fake "Future Psychics" are what bring a bad name to the rest of us. I do fit in the Psychic category. I'm slightly Empathic to people, and extremely Empathic to spirits. I've talk to some other people who have talents and I asked them about the credit card thingy. "If they know everything, why do they have to ask for your credit card number?" Just because they can figure things out, doesn't mean they know everything. I don't know how it works for everyone, but they wont' always know everything, this is why they ask questions. They might have a good idea, but it wont' be as plain as words.. like in a written document... Thus they have to ask to get it clear.

Also as far as I am concerned, Future Psychics are not good. I can give two reasons why I will never go to them.

1. If they know the future.. then there must be no free will. If there was, they wouldn't really know would they?

2. Their power is beyond just knowing. Since Free Will exists, there are infinate possiblities about what you will do with your life. By going to a Future Psychic, you would merely be letting them CHOOSE one of the infinate paths for you. Personally I would rather keep my life in my own hands than to let someone pick it for me. (especially since you are usually paying them to fuck up your life)

You see, sir.. I am psychic, but I can tell you right now I couldn't tell you a damn thing what is going to happen 5 seconds from now, nor do I know what happened to you 10 seconds ago. not even 1 second ago aside from the fact that you just read this.... which isn't psychic by any means. I deal more with Empathy. I feel emotions, I also can feel spirits around me.. I can't summon them or make them speak, nor can I get dates out of them.. but I can tell you how they are feeling.. and I can ask them questions and get answer... but again, I cannot make them answer.

First I wanna point out.. not every Psychic can read or see aura's.. I'm one of them. Ask me about someone's aura and I'm as clueless as anyone else. The ones that can though, I think is pretty cool. Its something I wouldn't mind attempting to learn.

Well, I definitly have some kind of unique ability, though, I have no control over it, as-in, I cannot "turn in on/off". I "get" information about people; things I shouldn't know for any other reason. The last time I saw my grandfather before he passed away, I knew he was going to die. That sucked. I doubted the "information" and although I was initially compelled to go visit him, I didn't. He died two days later. My sister breifly introduced me to a new boyfriend once. I was so convinced that he was the type to get violent when he drank that I was compelled to tell her of my feelings. She was quite irate with me at the time...but, a month or two later, it turned out I was right. I do this sort-of thing constantly. I have never been wrong, or at least, not far off. My husband has dreams about people he never met or saw a picture of, yet he can describe them accurately down to tiny details. I do beleive that there are people who have such "gifts". I just wish I knew how to better use or control this ability.

i had a psychic tell me that i had 3 "spirits" following me around: destruction, fear, and hope. destruction of the minds/bodys of myself and others (fairly accurate), fear of myself and what i would be capable of doing in a situation of complete anarchy (also accurate) and hope for myself and the future of humanity. it scared the shit out of me, i had just gone with one of my friends because he said the woman was good. i couldn't believe it when she basically described me to a T. she named the spirits, but i can't remember the names. i do believe that people can have some psychic ability, but not of the "miss cleo" variety, or talking to the dead. kinda like the way animals can sense emotion, they can feel/see the flow of emotions and thoughts, not the thoughts themselves.
