Significant numbers?

There are three numbers I constantly see in everything... every time I casually check the clock, it is the time. Every time look down at the licence plate in front of me, it's the last three digits. It's in an ID number of mine, multiple friends/gfs birthdays. I see it a couple of times a day, out of the blue, and it gets me to thinking.

Am I seeing it more frequently than any other three digit combination of numbers? I don't know, but it certainly seems so.

Anyone else have a number that haunts them like this? Is there any significance?

You're just more attuned to those numbers since they have a particular signifcance for you. You are not really seeing the numbers more often than others but when you do see them they tend to stand out more due to recognation. It's like after you buy a car and all of a sudden you start to notice how many other people have the same car as you. You could have sworn there were not that many before but now here they all are.

it's a common phenomenon that has to do with you noticing things you normally ignore, as BulletCatcher described.

A psychic told me that your "spirit guides" are pointing out the numbers to you, as a way of just letting you know that they are there, you're not alone, there is meaning to the universe, etc.

I have had the number 212 appear in my life many times. As part of my phone number twice, my first college dorm room, part of my address once, my employee number at my first job, etc.

I have begun to not believe in coincidences.

When I was really little I used to see my old street address 108 all over, every time i opened a book to a random page it was there. Of course it wasn't really every time. I was just only noticing the page numbers if they were 108. I figured that if I payed attention to the 105s I would probably see them everywhere also.
In fact as I started reading Robert Anton Wilson who always makes a big deal out of the number 23. I had never even heard it was mysticly significant before, but I started watching for it. And I started seeing them everywhere 23 birds nests in the trees from my house to school (I also got myself 'noticing' birdsnests while im driving in the winter when there are no leaves). Direct deposit of my paycheck is on the 23 of every month. And guess what, now I see 23s when I open my books too.

I had the number 13 popping up everywhere for a few years. Since it is supposedly an unlucky number, I at first had some qualms. But life went on as normal, without any real bumps, so I eventually adopted it as my lucky number. It still is. When given a choice of numbered objects or quantities, I always choose 13.

On another note, I used to eat variations on the same meal in a particular restaurant, and much of the time the total with tax came to $6.66. I eventually pointed this out to the waitress, who allowed as maybe it was dangerous to serve me ;-).

Its funny, lately things i buy or use is 666. In the last month I bought diffrent shit and at least 7 times it has been $6.66. Today at work there are these tags we use for something and each one has three digits we have to type in. There are thousands of these things, but the one I did today was 666. Stupid coincidence, but funny anyway.

How many times have you looked at something and NOT had those numbers there. If you look for something you will find it. When I was little I had my bike stolen. It was blue. For three days I noticed EVERY blue thing I passed. They just stood out in my mind. There wasn't this surge of blue things in my world, just my brain looking for them.
