damn man, obviously some of you have had a dream that seemed so real, and looked so real that you didnt even once think you were infact dreaming.well i dunno if this was a dream or not, but i saw liquid spears, if you know what i mean.and they came out of people, just like in donnie darko.i can always tell the difference between reality and dreams, but this was just bizzare.

can anyone relate to this?

Yeah, sounds like you may have been having a 'pre-lucid dream'. In this state you might experience amazingly vivid imagery and be able to think fairly clearly. The fact that you didn't realize that you were dreaming however prevented that final step to the lucid dream which could potentially be even more amazing.

That's really freaky.

I would be shitting my pants if that happened to me. So long as you dont see a bunny anytime soon, that predicts the end of the world, you should be peachy. Also, if it happends again tonight, start to freak out even more..

I've had lucid dreams where things poped up and grabbed me and it seemed very real.

I'm actually very good at lucid dreaming. I like writing my stuff down too.

i never know i am dreaming. ever. i dream every night for three years now and i never know the difference until I wake up.

the thread between the two worlds is very thin.

I have dreams like that too Z.. As for me, some days i'm saddened (those love dream where you're with the perfect girl... that is also in love with you)... Some dyas i'm just confused.. as most of my dreams are just fucked up :) Beyond that tho, I feel my emtions in my dream, so I just feel whatever I was feeling before I wake....

Ok, this was even more bizarre.I'm in math class way ahead of everybody else.I'm doing my work.And then I look up and the girl I like, a liquid spear comes out of her.The blob leads to the teacher's desk, then it turns back.Leading her to her desk.And, I never woke up, if I was dreaming that is.So does this mean I'm asleep right now?

One time I had a dream that my cousin whom I'm actually good friends with... was in a car accident and died.

I woke up and I actually was sobbing, like I woke up, right as in my dream I had found out the horrible news.

For about ten minutes I was convinced that he was dead.

The creepiest thing was once I realized it was just a dream, I called him, and he actually WAS in a car accident the night before but wasn't hurt.

I will have dreams about people I have not seen for years, and the next day they will call me or show up at my apartment.

Last night, I had a dream that this girl I used to be friends with pissed me off, so I tried to kill her. When I woke up, I checked my email and she had sent me a message. I am still too afraid to talk to her, mostly because I am freaked out, but partially because we left on bad terms and I feel that my dream is telling me to stay away.

yeah maybe i was lucid dreaming when i saw this creepy hand almost crawl out from over the covers and grab me. then i blinked and it disappeared. but i coulda sworn it was real. i thought i was awake too.

Thankfully, I don't dream much. Only when I'm on my back. So, being a side- and stomach-sleeper, doesn't happen that often.

My dreams are always too strange to be real, until the world is as I'd want it.

Today I woke up sick.And now I don't dream about the spears.
