Gremlin Toilet Scene
 

If you've ever seen Gremlins, you'll understand why....as a kid, I was petrified of using the toilets..... fearing gremlins would eat me...

Anyone else fear the gremlins in the toilet?

yeah, that was gholies, a crappy take off on gremlins- but it freaked me as a kid too- maybe not so much, but man, that would just suck

I didn't catch that scene, but I was afraid of bush toilets, you know the ones that are way out in the bush, there is no power so they are built over big holes in the ground. Well when I was a kid I thought the hole went on forever (you could rarely see the bottom, it was too dark) and sitting on one of those things freaked the hell out of me.

A couple of years ago in the Raleigh area, this family found a snake in their toilet. It had crawled up the pipes for some reason. Anyway, now whenever I sit on the pot in the dark that's all I can think about. I just sit there and wait for a bite on my butt!

I read this book by a hunter in africa and this one story he wrote was about a black mamba in the camp toilet. The hunter got a double barreled 12 gauge and shot both barrels point blank into the bowl. He missed the snake but gave himself a shower :)

anyway it wasnt the toilet that scared me, it was opening my dresser. I thought gremlins would pop out of my sock drawer and get me.

I used to have that fear sometimes, but when nature called I settled my business anyway

I've heard a lot of stories about things popping up out of the toilet... snakes, rats, frogs, alligators/crocodiles... fish.

But when ya gotta go ya gotta go. Toilet dwellers duck and cover.

I thought about all that too, but then I started thinking.. If there's a snake or monster in there.. I hope he enjoys the present I'm about to give him! Then all of the sudden the fear just kinda left :)

ive had two frogs in my toilet so its definetly possible. i aslo hate using latrines specifically becuse i associate them with old ones at a church my family has reunons at and there's a mold or domething in there that makes me swell up and itch like crazy.

The toilet has become my sanctuary. Ain't nuthin gonna keep me from spending some quality time there.
