my grandfather passed away ten years ago in march. and as chinese tradition goes, we lit some incense for him. two days after he passed, our grandmother was scared to be home herself. it was decided that we all sleep at her house with her until we buried him.

the very first night, as we were all sleeping. something woke the all of us up. we just kinda sat up one at a time. my 2 brothers, my mother, my father, my cousins, aunts, and uncles. then all of a sudden, there was a strong smell of incense, the same kind we had burned for my grandfather. then all of a sudden, my grandmother comes out and says that our grandfather was back.

of course, this was kinda freaky. but has something of this sort happened to anyone?

After my grandmother died... it had to be a few years after. When I was in 7th grade or so and she died when I was in 4th. I was cleaning out my drawers and noticed her purse was left in it. So I took it out, and I never ever cried when she died... but I took it out and was home alone. I looked through it and then put it down and walked around the house. Then I came back and it wasn't in the same spot... kinda freaky. But then I thought I felt her touch me, rub her hand on my shoulder. I started to cry because I never said good-bye, or treated her the way I should have, or even gotten to know her. I think that was just a sign that told me she would always be there, no matter how close we were.

The day after my father died, both my mother and I were awakened by the sound of his voice calling her name. Our rooms are next to each other, so when they talked at night, I would hear them.

My ex-girlfriend's dad died at 51 of a heart attack. She was 18 at the time and devastated. Her family decided to move as the house had so many memories of him. Almost all of her possessions were boxed up, and the next day I was suppose to help her move. We were talking and she was upset because she was having a hard time picturing in her own head, his face or his voice.

I told her to find a physical object that reminded her of a happy time she had with her father. She mentioned a putt putt golf ball that was pink, that her dad lovingly lifted from the putt putt course so that she could have it. Something a young dad would do for his baby girl. The problem was she had the thing packed away and would have to wait to get it out after she was finished moving.

We go to sleep and in the morning she is flipping out because this pink golfball is sitting right smack ontop of her otherwise empty dresser, in her otherwise empty room.

I was like - WTF but after that I've been much more open to visits from deceased loved ones.

my grandmother whom i never met is said to be roming around my house, one day an auntcame in and saw a women shes never seen before walk throuh a bathroom door, she freaked and yelled and when she was in my parents bedroom she saw a picture of my grandmother and said that that was the women she saw... mind you i have heard the voice of a women and so has my father, however i cant recognize the vocie and it is in spanish her language my faher says he knows its her spirit.
