My biggest fear is being tortured. As horrible as drowning, burning, car wreck, etc. are, at least it will end. If you are tortured, the pain can last for days (weeks? months?).

For me, definitely the thought of some psycho getting ahold of my wife or two daughters. Seriously, I'm am so worried about it that I probably go overboard with "protecting" them.

Drowning, losing a limb, losing my vision, finding out I have a horrible disease (cancer, AIDs, etc)... hmmm...


I think the biggest though is the draft. I know its more than likely never coming back, but I still didn't want to register (I just recently turned 18). I don't care how many people say the draft is never coming back, it still scares the shit outta me.

Sharks, I hate those things. Especially big ones.

My biggest fear/nightmare would be losing the ability to make new long term memories.

About that waking up and not breathing..
I was asleep, having a dream about whatever then i was suffocating, when i opened my eyes i still couldnt breath.
Turns out my cat was sleeping on my neck. And that freaked me out. Guess i shouldnt have named thoose cats Mickey and Mallory.
