I was watching the discovery cahnnel and they had a commercial about that anmial cops show on animal planet then right when its over the word HELP comes up in big bold capital letters for like a second then it went to another commercial. What the hell is it?

You ever watch tv and see a commercial for your home town or for your cable company? They are usually placed on-top of a pre-existing broadcast. What you saw might have been a commercial run by Discovery and a commercial run by your cable provider overlapping. Sometimes this kinda thing happens when the commercials/ shows are a couple seconds off at the beginning...

floonine is exactly right, this happens all the time. The definition of a subliminal message prevents it from being caught by human eye, if portrayed as intended, in the first place.

In the fightclub dvd there are several frames where Brad pit has his arm around Ed norton or is in the background, at first i didn't see them but i did like the 2nd or 3rd, they weren't in the movies i know that for sure because i saw it in theaters about 8 times, btw I have seen that movie about 40+ times i've lost count. I like it.
