Premonition - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

I'm not one to have any idea what is going to happen to me next. I don't have the slightest bit of intuition. One thing did happen to me that I'd like to tell you all about. If for no other reason than when it comes to pass you all can say 'Holy Sh**' Bent was right!
I had a particularly vivid dream around the time I was in college. That would make the dream over 20 years old now. Keep in mind most of my dreams are vague and fleeting, not this one. This one is still etched in my memory. I dreamt I was in a college dorm type room with cinder block walls and a couple of single beds on opposite walls, now that I think about it it could have been a prison except that it didn't have that 'feel' to it. Anyway, I was sitting on one of the beds looking at a small tv at the end of the room. A news caster was on and was talking about how depressed the economy was. He said the states bordering the Great Lakes (in the US) had formed an alliance (litterally the Great Lakes Alliance). They had announced they were not going to send any fresh water to any of the other states unless they started 'urging' companies to start relocating to the Great Lakes region to create jobs there.
Ok, end of dream. Since then my mind has tried to fill in the blanks on why this would happen. The conclusion I have come up with is that ground water is rapidly becoming polluted. At some point it will be undrinkable and the Great Lakes will be the only major source of fresh water for the US. If this really is a premonition, why do you think something like this would happen and why would those states think they had the power to intimidate other states like that?

I doubt it.. But either way i'm in Indiana.. we may not touch a ton of it.. but we still got a part of it!... Besides you know Canada would sell out..

Sounds like a cool dream tho.
