For as publicized as the Bermuda triangle is, there isn't an extroidinary amount of sinkings/dissapearings in the area. Ships go missing at sea every once in awhile nomatter where you go. It's just that the ones that do in the triangle get massive press.
I'm sure anybody that actually lives in the area would laugh at the question, that or get you to buy them a beer as they make up stories. |

I saw a documentary on this about a month ago, it pretty much dispelled all the myths and stuff, but still life a few questions open, so as to not completely dismiss the bermuda triangle as complete nonsense. I dont believe in the triangle being evil and stuff though, what a load of crap!

It's all gone now, lol. The entire triangle crap is just that, crap. Most of crashes and stuff are because of wind/water currents of clashing, or something...Anywho, haven't heard anything of it in years so I'm guessing it's all gone bye bye..

That idea of not having more accidents is complete BS. It has, if I recall correctly, about 3600 incidents a year. That's a lot more than normal. Changing water and wind currents is not gonna cause a lot of accidents. I mean, come on. That stuff is minor. There's something else there...maybe Elvis...=D

Not on hand, I read that years ago =). Well, that site you said has cleared things up a bit. I still know that's where Elvis lives though =D

You guys know the reason why the United States has so many tornados? Because we are in between 3 air masses (gulf of mexico, canadian jet stream, westward flow). It's the same with the Triangle really (atlantic and gulf as well as flow coming up from s. america), except they also have colliding water temperatures to deal with.
