Hey, why not both? Anyone asked for directions you could point them the way pretty easily.

I have a flights coming up where I will be hitting the Chicago and Detroit airports. I am very nervous since they are big hubs and will most likely have scanners.
I am not sure what to do about this. I do not want to picture because, as the pics suggest, I will be seen practically naked by a stranger and I don't want the 'enhanced' pat down because of the news where people liken it to molestation and sexual assault |

Opt out. Any risk from the radiation exposure - however minimal it may be - will stay with you for life. The uncomfortable pat-down is an experience that will come and go. Furthermore, the more people opt out of the scanner and force the pat-down, the more likely it is to force TSA to come up with security policies that actually work without causing massive delays and inconvenience.

As someone who flies a lot, I don't like that 1) I'm getting a dose of radiation, that 2) if I don't want an dose of radiation, I get felt up and that 3) the TSA is staffed by a bunch of morons.
There was a flight out of O'Hare yesterday that had to be rescreened because a passenger brought a butter knife on board.

have we all come to such an unthinking state, that we can glibly remark about letting near minimum wage workers subject us to acts that if done by any other person would be considered molestation? and feel safe about it?
