Some moron spirit...
...Kinda startled me, but really pissed me off more.
It's 5AM, I just walked downstairs to go to bed, and I open my door and something in the bathroom takes off. I can see it because the light of the nightlight in there is bright on the ceiling, and there it is, solid mass casting a shadow on the ceiling, and POOF it goes away in a second. I see the shadow break up and quickly disappear, because it's right in front of me on the ceiling as I stand in the doorway to the bedroom a few feet away. Now I'm all awake and shit. Not scared of the thing, just had an adrenaline rush because some fool was standing in my bathroom. Meh. Sometimes I don't see how people miss these things

Spooky. Possibly a fly on the nightlight though? I have a small LED lamp and sometimes a fly will land on it and cast a huge shadow on the ceiling. It always catches my eye because it's in my peripheral vision as I watch TV.

No, no flies. It's cold and they aren't moving right now. I'm an entomologist, if anybody here knows when they move, it's me. Plus, after a room has been still for a while when it's dark, they usually don't move even when it's warm. Everything has to rest on some level, even flies. It disappeared like ink in water. Very cliche to me, actually. Never seen anything quite like that.
It was very startling to say the least. I've seen a male form walk across the bedroom before, lasting a couple of seconds, and my wife has seen a guy in shorts disappear on the stairs. I've recorded something rustling through papers in our computer room as well, but that may or may not be related to him. That was more subjective than actually seeing him.

Everything but what I plainly saw, eh?
Wife sees him too at times, and so have my dogs (and had a reaction). Still just some mental issue I suppose. I watched him or another male form walk across my bedroom. Spent 2 seconds wide awake watching him walk through my closet door, starting from the middle of the room. Must be dreaming... even though I hadn't begun to even wind down for the night yet. ---------- Post added at 03:11 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:31 AM ---------- Let me add that I know many here don't believe in the spiritual. This is well documented in this thread alone. I've been communicating with spirits my entire life. This is normal for many. However I can understand how it may be completely ridiculous to some. Seriously, I get that. But the woman that spoke to me as a child was real enough to get me to go looking for my grandmother in the other room, whom I thought was calling my name. When I pointed out the two guides I saw watching over my grandmother and I as a child, she couldn't see them and told me nothing was there. The invisible screaming entity that turned my hispanic friend whiter than me was not wind. The field that I visited, to see my departed loved one.. how I wish I could go back. I'm repeating myself from other threads. If only I could show you, what wonders you may behold. But I can't, and even if I could, maybe some of you wouldn't be able to see anyways. Dlish, you do bring up a good point, perhaps from my blog. I do have some serious issues at this time in my life, but they are flash points, not a constant state. My experiences with the other side are separate from that, and in a way hampered by my daily life and current mental state. I am man of highs and lows, and at a few rare points in my life I have felt nearly weightless and able to communicate more freely with those around me, both living and not. Right now though, I feel like a lead brick with legs. lol. This mental state seems to change my awareness of my guides, or perhaps loved ones around me, but it does not change my sense of the earthbound. This man, as it were, in my bathroom, was definitely there and definitely doing something, or perhaps doing something only he could perceive. I don't really know, I didn't get a chance to ask him

Haha! Oh trust me, I'm a scientist at heart. I have my BS in entomology, I have years of experience working in a lab setting, and I took and loved my physics classes. When people just come up and tell me some crap like "HEY I saw a ghost and it had fairy wings and a blue tail" I obviously have a reaction similar to yours, except I typically just nod and keep it to myself.
However, seeing these things, and having others experience the same, is too much to ignore. There is something there. It cannot readily be proven. On a scientific level, we're missing something though. Some fundamental explanation for what so many people experience daily. I suspect it ties all the way back to the big bang, and more than likely, outside of it completely. We may never know on this plane of existence. It may be impossible to examine what is outside of the jar, when you live inside the jar. That's my take on it. As always, I don't really know, but that seems like a reasonable direction to go.
