Daniel Lewin was the only person I know of that was murdered on the flights of 9-11.
However, what makes him interesting is his background.

Daniel was an American born jew who felt an affinity for the troubles that other jews were having in Isreal.
He moved there when he was old enough to join the army and ascended to rank of Captain.

He later moved back to the US, achieved his Masters at MIT and was one of the founding members of Akamai. In fact some of the early algorithms he wrote probably help you each day, with delivery of data to your pc. If you use Hotmail, you use Akamai's services.

While doing all this, he was still actively listed as a member of Sayeret Maktal, the Isreali anti-terrorist unit. These are the guys who performed the raid on Entebbe, so they have a long and active history.

Daniel is reported to have been murdered by the hijackers in a controversial FAA message. the first version claims he was shot, and a lter one that he is wounded or murded by a knife attack.

So now, I've seen a bunch of articles on this and I've seen the typical "The jews did it" and other things, but there's one piece of evidence that stuck out to me.
What interests me is his links via Akamai, to the NSA.

Akamai have servers that reside on the IP ranges that are reserved for the NSA.
Now, there may be innocent reasons for this but what makes it interesting, if you'll bear with me, is Akamai's function in the global internet structure.

As I said earlier, if you use hotmail, you use Akamai.
Akamai offer a middle tier hosting service for the major players.
What they do is globally distribute many of their sites and data.
So If you're in Ireland, you might connect to a mirror of the site in the UK, while in Boston, you might see the same site, only that it's physically mirrored in New York.
They do an incredible job of reducing traffic over the highly congested links between continents.

Now, we know for surety that a widespread and illegal wiretapping program existed before 9-11 and that the NSA also reputedly had a large "driftnet" operation in place.
Where, logically, do you place your "nets" for such a driftnet?
My guess is that akamai is simply one of many middle tier services that also "patriotically" supply data to the NSA.

Daniel Lewin's work is all about the algorithms that shufle this type of data around the globe.
Now tell me, does an active member of an isreali anti-terrorist squad, who part owns and designds for a company that filters internet traffic and holds hands with the NSA being a few rows behind some hijackers on one of the most infamous days in history strike you as an oddity?

My take on the whole issue is that Daniel somehow came up with some information.
Through his NSA and Mossad likely contacts he would have seen that nothing was being done.

The next bit of information I'd like to find is how far ahead of the day did he book that flight?

if thats the case, then maybe you will recall the '20th hijacker' (how many 20th hijackers have we had eh??) mousaoui? you remember him, he was a nuggety fellow, dark complexion, he had a big round head and a goatee.

anyways i do remember that there was investigation into his hotmail account. but by the time the investigators got to hotmail the account had been suspended and deleted because it was inactive for a period of time.

if what you say is true, then how come they couldnt get the info they needed?

Maybe they did.
It's been my belief for a while, that the 9-11 thing was just too big to arrnge with the typical conspiracy thoeries - bombs in the buildings etc.

The simplest explanation is that those in the know did nothing, or at least colluded to slow or limit the access to the information that was being generated.
This would account for the speed that the suspect's ID's were released, the "found" passports, Moussaoui's detention and prevention of his laptop to be accessed.

It's easier for a government to assist a terrorist plan by inaction, than to create a red flag event themselves.

I had not heard of Daniel Lewin until I read your thread. Thanks for the information. I still question many things about the tragedies of 9/11.

Good question on when the flight was booked. I'd ask "and where?" too. I would doubt many of the victims had booked them much in advance or through typical channels in case they ever were booked.
