Ghost Videos Hoaxes?

Supposed Gettysberg Battlefield--
Flash lights, wires, sheets, and a couple people in brush at night are the right combination for a hoax. Especially when you have a family voicing their statements of disbelief. The subject of ghosts or that they really exist is one I have difficulty in taking sides on. While I personally have never seen or heard anything that is unusual in this area, people I find credible have. If they did exist, the fact that being stuck here without any kind of evolution (spiritually speaking) is a dismal thought. I tried to find if there was any information on this video being a hoax (meaning the creators came forward and admitted it) and wasn’t able to find any. Does anyone know about this video clip?

Did the fence just simply pop back up?

I've seen a discussion of this clip before, and the conclusion they came to is that the section immediately to the right was open, and the car fishtailed to make it look like it went straight through. Either way, that's a lot more plausible than a ghost car :)

As for the Gettysburg footage, it's simply too indistinct to judge either way. You could create the effect with a bedsheet at the end of a pole. Not to say that it's faked -- just that faking it would be fairly easy.

Video is tough. It's either blurry and poorly framed, or it's so clear that digital effects become a consideration. The kind of SFX we're capable of these days makes footage and photography unreliable.

This is an example of an amazing-looking fake:
Everything in that clip is computer-generated, aside from the audio track.

I agree with simple adobe programs like after effects and at least medium consumer level 3D software special effects are easily done these days. The extra touches people put into the filming if they are fake are the true final touches. In this case having a couple of kids and the wife make comments.

The only thing with the police video is it appeared on court TV. I dont think any poilice department likes looking ridiculous. While what you stated is probably true, one would think they would have solved it before airing or at least tape an interview with the police officer. They way the video is concluded makes it sound like the entire police department has no idea what happened.

That clip you provided a link to is great.

Looks to me that the fence just popped back up, heh. If you look at the left part of the fence you can see that the pole has been popped out.. so yea he crashed through it and it sprung back up.

As for the first one, yea it looks like flashlights and lightning bugs to me.

Freaky but still can be explained.

The fence looks like it just went up and down between the posts like a curtain.

Plus why would a ghost car go threw a fence but still kick up dirt?
