As the title says, anyone else here a fan of Atmosphere? I got the new album but I don't like it as much as his older stuff. I have the new one, Sevens Travels, and Lucy Ford. So far I think Lucy Ford is the best one.

I'm a fan as well. Personally, my favorite albums are Se7en's Travels and God Loves Ugly. Slug is one of my favorite hip-hop artists.

Big fan of Atmosphere myself. Got my hands on most of the albums at this point and can't say that I don't like any of them. Some are better than others, though. Just snatched up a freestyle session with Slug from Atmosphere, Sage Francis, Aesop and a bunch of others. Sounding pretty sweet so far. Description says it's 50 minutes long. Hell of a session.

Unfortunately, you're missing the best album (God Loves Ugly). Also, look for Se7en-headshots (it's a compilation of material from between God Loves Ugly and Se7en's travels). Also if you like Slug's rhymes, make sure and check out the Felt albums (Slug+Murs, can't remember who handles most of the production). They are also quite nice, and show off Slug's mic skills well.

God Loves Ugly is by far their best album. I really like Atmosphere.

I'm with you on Lucy Ford! It's the shit. God Loves Ugly is a very close second in my book. He definitely seems to be going downhill these days. Think he peaked at God Loves Ugly.

I like atmosphere for the most part. The only thing i don't like is that slug has a tendency to repeat the hook like 4 or 8 times too many.

I do have Headshots-Se7en, I forgot to list it, haha. That was actually the first one I bought. I had heard that the Felt albums are good, I downloaded one song from Felt 2 from the Atmosphere page on MySpace and like it a lot. I want to get God Loves Ugly next.

I saw Atmosphere the last night in Minneapolis of his Pour Me Another tour. Fantastic show! POS and Blueprint as openers, Brother Ali made an appearence for Cats Van Bags (YO!), and Slug and Ant had a whole live band backing them up. It was pretty sweet.

Just saw Atmosphere in October at an outdoor show in Orlando. The whole band came out and literally right as Slug stepped out and grabbed the mic it started pouring! Great show. I was really surprised during the middle when the band left and he introduced Ant. This was great for me since I just saw Atmosphere back in March and it was Slug and Band all night so it was nice to have a mix of live band and turntables. My first time seeing Atmosphere was at Warped Tour 2004 when it was Slug and Mr. Dibbs as DJ and it's just a bit more fun to me for some reason.

Small update, if you can call it that. Anyway. For Christmas, I got my brother God Loves Ugly and he got me Felt 2. Both awesome albums. But you guys were right, God Loves Ugly is probably the best album of his. I love it.
