Why does RJD2 kick so much ass??
I mean, I first got "Since we lack spoke" and it was pretty good, then I just bought "Deadringer" and it is even sweeter, and now I am listening to the "Ghostwriter" album and it is complete gold! Wow!
Any other artists who constantly outdo themselves? |

I love RJ too. He's just really good at what he does.

RJD2's stuff is some of the finest I got hold of last year. Awesome for mix CDs.
Anyone heard Pepe Deluxe? Not hugely dissimilar. UNKLE? DJ Format? Handsome Boy Modelling School? I can recommend those too. |
check out the RJD2 mixes "constant elevation" and "your face or your kneecaps" for some more of his work
a lot of ninja tune artists are somewhat similar, although they each have a unique sound. it is essentially a label of electronica/hip hop instrumentalists. besides what has already been mentioned, i really like diplo. |
I think I meant to say the "Horror" album, not "Ghostwriter", though both names of good songs

Funki Porcini is another Ninja Tune artist worth a look.
