Hey everyone. Could you all contribute and help make a list of 80's tunes that sound good on the piano? I'm looking for things along the lines of Chicago, Journey, Air Supply, Foreigner... etc. That type of music. I don't like to play rock or fast music on the piano; it's just not my style. I like easy-going music like the kind those bands play.

I've already got the following:

The Search is Over
Faithfully
I Can't Fight This Feeling
All Out of Love
Like a Rock
Tuesday's Gone

Just to give you an idea.

Hm. I've got Always a Woman and Piano Man from Billy Joel. What from Elton john though? I've seen his music and he always includes so many dang extra notes to play that I get frustrated with playing his songs

Ignore the sheet music and look at the "guitar" symbols above. Start with just basically blocking the songs out and then start adding your own take on it. Eventually, you'll come up with something better than Elton John himself. There's a book with, like, every Elton John song in it.

Same thing with Billy Joel ...
