Who Would Pick For Your Own Personal Gig?
Who Would Pick For Your Own Personal Festival?
The idea is you pick 10 Iconic/Well Known bands (Who you like!) to put on the main stage. Then 5 of your favorite new bands to go on the second stage. Oh yeah and give your festival a name. You can put any band (dead or alive) anywhere on the bill but always put the Last acts at the top going down till you get to the opening act. This is mine: LuLu-stock! Main Stage: The Beatles Brian Wilson The Rolling Stones The White Stripes The Libertines Oasis Franz Ferdinand The Strokes Coldplay Green Day Second Stage: The Cribs Nine Black Alps We Are Scientist Arctic Monkeys Babyshambles P.S. Where would you have your Festival? |

Mainstage Anthrax (With both John Bush and Joey Belladonna singing) Motorhead Soundgarden Alice in chains AC DC (With Bon Scott, not Brian singing) Rob Zombie Megadeth Iron Maiden Jimi Hendrix Led Zeppelin Second Stage Primus Nebula kyuss Rammstein Monster Magnet it would be a freakin miracle if anyone made it out of that concert alive It would also be in a fairly accessable park somewhere on a flat meadow style land so the seeing the acts would be free with merchandise/food going to the artists. i also left a bunch of political orientated bands out as they just wouldnt fit the bill. |

The fest would be called The Beer that Rocks, sponsered by Labett Blue, and would be a 4 day fest, with multiple stages, many small bands, and a few large names (well, more than a few!) Stage 1 Linkin Park Kid Rock SOAD POD Puddle of Mud Seven Dust Stage 2 Operation Ivy Pennywise NOFX REM Bad Brains Prodigy Sugar Ray (only the punk stuff) GG Allin The Mentors The Stain (local punk band) Stage 3 Metallica Motley Crue Fear Factory KORN Judas Priest KMFDM NIN Velvet Revolver/STP The 80's stage Depeche Mode The Cult Billy Idol Dead Milkmen Iron Maiden Love and Rockets Violent Vemmes Stage 4 All local bands here, and this would be going on the whole time. Can't remember all the names off the top of my head, but The Sell-out Kings, and they kick ass! |

Your concerts are too big. You need less bands and more time for each band.
Mainstage Opener - Miles Davis On a large, revolving stage, I'd have the following acts. Each would do a jam, and then the stage revolves... The Grateful Dead Led Zeppelin Allman Bros (with Duane, of course) Jimi Hendrix Stage 2. Small venue. Coffee House. 150 max. Beatles (Revolver, Sgt. Pepper) Neil Young Bob Dylan John Denver **Edit I didn't read the instructions. Oh well, I'm leaving it. **

I would definately have Sonic Death Monkeys and Barrytown as the opening acts, and once the crowd is warmed up, bring out Stillwater and Spinal Tap.
Best fictional concert ever!
