I'm 40, British, cut my teeth on punk and new wave music but until this weekend had never sat down and listened to the first PIL album, although I remember hearing bits and pieces of it at the time of course. It was phenomenal. Why weren't they my number one fave band a the time? Why is this not recognised as one of THE great albums? Annalisa especially is just awesome.

I too loved PIL... awesome band that was too late for most punks and a bit ahead of its time for the true post-punk crowd...

This just reminded me to search for my copy World Destruction by Time Zone (Afrika Bambaataa and Johnny Lydon). I love this song...
