Linkin Park - Songs all the same?
I hear this a lot. I don't personally listen to Linkin Park because I don't enjoy their music, but I've heard that there are a few songs that if you play on top of each other come across as about the same and they blend together to basically be the same song.
Does anyone have a clip of this, know the two songs, or know how to blend music like that? Thanks. |
Last question first; the style is called "bastard pop", or "mashups". We have a good thread here: http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/showthread.php?t=64045
Also, I found these quickly; I don't know if the links are still valid: Quote:

Broadly speaking, they're all the same, in that they're all BOLLOCKS.

Concerning the rest of the songs-- what flamingdog said. --jaded |
Ha ha, sounds like a decent recipe actually. Cut out the whiny whiteboy, drop the half-assed rapper...
|
Yeah, they're all the same. ANGST TO DA MAXX. If you look at the lyrics, it's like emo + heavier guitars + bad rapping.

Their songs may sounds similar, and you may say they are bollocks, but the fact of the matter is, it works.
Linkin Park as a band are richer and more successful than any of us could probably ever hope to be. My $.02 |
Yeah, its a shame that you're right with that comment. They're terrible musicians, but they seem to make a lot of money cause the kids like 'em. It's lame.
