Before anyone signs anything with them you might want to take a look at their "legal" page. It looks like if you sign with them then they own EVERYTHING that you might produce and even things that you have already produced.
They go on to say that this is an "industry standard agreement." In my experience there is no such thing as an industry standard agreement. Most of the time you don't want to sign everything over to them. You'll want to retain the copyright on your material. Period. Remember that YOU are in control in these situations. You have the power to walk away ... they just don't want you to know that. |
