Man if I made a list of songs that I just love, it would take forever, so for this thread, I'm just gonna make a list of songs that get me really pumped up.

1. The Requiem Overture - (The Score from LOTR: The Two Towers, its fricking awesome.)
2. Hit the Floor- Linkin Park
3. Lose Yourself- Eminem
4. Til I Collapse- Eminem
5. The Red- Chevelle
6. Deny - Default
7. Ruff Ryders Anthem- DMX
8. Right Here, Right Now- Fatboy Sliim
9. Chop Suey- System of a Down
10. So Much Pain- Ja Rule and 2Pac (I cant stand Ja, but Pacs verse in this song is the best rap verse ever, and that redeems the entire song completely.)

Thank you.

Has to be the opening track on Catherine Wheel's 'Wishville' album. What a perfect song. Why doesn't anyone know about this band?

Track # 4 and on Sigur Ros's (_) album (Album doesn't have title or track titles). You know the one with the war drums, weird plucky guitar feedback, melotronic organ and the wordless vocals.

Track #1 on their blue album (one with angels) is really cool too because it's being played backwords.

kod 07-16-2003 08:17 PM

Tom Waits, "I don't wanna grow up".

The ramones version was amusing enough, i suppose.

crvrba 07-17-2003 08:29 PM

Deftones w/ Maynard James Keenan "Passenger"

MikeyChalupa 07-21-2003 04:02 AM

Primal Scream - Loaded. I wrote a paper on that song in college. Peter Fonda soundbites.

"We wanna be free, to do what we wanna do! And we wanna get loaded, and we wanna have a good time! And that's what we're gonna do. We're gonna have a good time. We're gonna have a party!"

-Mikey
