If you haven't heard it check out the new Dresden Dolls single "Coin Operated Boy". It's fun (the video is on their website)!

If you have heard it, just exactly what in the heck do you think she is singing about??? I first had one thought, and now I have a completely different interpretation.

i dunno that it's naughty per se. the end verse "and i know he feels, like a boy should feel, that he's thinking of me, straight and to the point"

there are lots of boys out there willing to be trained, pretty much spineless and waiting for a strong woman to define their life. that's how i read it at least...

but yeah, i suppose it could just be dirty. fun, either way.

I'm really enjoying it, havn't listened to any of their other stuff yet, but if it's as good as this, I'll have to pick up the cd.
(my only real problem being the use of mime-type makeup in the vid, *shudders* eew, mimes...)

Checked out the CD the other day and posted about it. I like Coin Operated Boy..it definitely is fun and I think she looks freakin hot in that video..mime makeup or not. Not the song I enjoyed the most on the album though. I suppose I'll pick it up one of these days I liked what I heard.

i think the song is great. havent heard the album though. i think she is singing about calling a male sex line...
