Music that makes you cry.
 

Ok, I know its a tad wimpy, But Im curious so bear with me.
Theres a couple of songs that I find so powerfull that I have actually shed tears on occasion. Im not an over emotional person by any means but something in these songs hits me hard.

The only ones I can think of right now are:

Bjork - Hyperballad (Brodsky Quartet version)
The muppets - Halfway down the stairs

I have too many to list, however i will list a song that i can't even LISTEN to because, not only will i cry, but also emotionally self-destruct

anything by Avril Lavigne.. her music makes me cry with fear.. fear that her music may actually stay around.

Pretty much anything off Antimatter's "Saviour". I swear, whenever I put on that album the sky darkens and it starts to rain outside...

Sarah McLachlan's "Possession" is just freakin haunting. I just love the part where she says "I'll take your breath away."

"My Immortal" by Evanescence is very moving and emotional.
Amy Lee's voice is beautiful.

"Hush Hush Hush" by Paula Cole is one that almost sounds as if she is crying the song, rather than singing it. Simply awesome.

Its hard to imagine anyone being more depressing than Joy Division themselves.

I couldnt say that it makes me cry, but "How Soon is Now" by the Smiths always makes me feel pretty miserable... sort of connects with certain nights of my own youth
