Evanescence question
 

Does anyone happen to have the origin release or the new release Anywhere but Home? If so can you let me know if there any good? I know the Anywere but home is a recordeing from a live show. I have seen them once live and was wondering if it was worth picking up? Same with Origin's.

Last time I checked their were websites out there with all the original versions of their songs, as well as a new one for everytime they changed it up...you might try just googling their name eh?

I was not looking for googled info I'm looking for users opinions on the albums.

I don't care much for Origin, but then again, I don't care much for Evanescence anymore. It's interesting to listen to it and compare the songs to their modern counterparts, but it still wasn't really good in my opinion. Though there is one song called "Even in Death" that is creepy as hell and kinda cool, so maybe there's a redeeming quality.

I caught a glimpse of some special about the dvd or something on tv. I actually don't know if it was specifically promoting the dvd or just the band in general but I think it looks good. I plan on picking it up myself. I don't imagine they'd release something like a live dvd if it wasn't pretty good.

Now if they put out a dvd with that billboard performance on it, then there's something to worry about.

Personally, I liked Origin better than Fallen, lol. I thought Origin was a good album. I like Fallen too, but Origin was better in my opinion. I would suggest downloading a few songs from the album, though, see what you think of it and then decide on whether or not you should pick it up.

I have heard Anywhere But Home, and its not that great. I didn't hear it for too long, but wasn't too thrilled with it. The screaming girls in the audience got a bit irritating after a while.
