Any "Isley Brothers" fans out there? - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

I can't really say I'm a long time fan of the Brothers, but I have heard my fair share of there songs that I truly love, their cd Eternal is only cd i own by them, but I have a bunch of tapes of theirs given to my cousin. Anyway, I was thinking of buying the new album that they just came out with called Body Kiss. Has anyone heard this record yet? Is it worth buying or are the rumors I heard about R. Kelly producing it and destroying the Brothers sound true?

I havent heard the new album, but im a fan of the Isley Bros.. I grew up listening to them. Heck I even have their oooold stuff back in the 60's before they started doing "soul" music. R.Kelly , for what it's worth, would be a good producer tfor the Isley's . He artisticly mirrors them..just with a more modern tone. I can ask my dad about the new album though; The Isley's, Ashford and Simpson, and Prince are the only artists he'll buy CDs from.
