irish rock/punk/drinkin songs
i need the names of bands that play really good irish punk, rock, or just really good irish drinkin songs.. dont mention u2. Ive heard a couple and always thought that the singers with the thick irish accents were hysterical when i was drinkin with me mates.. have u seen the movie intermission, i think its colin farrel who actualy sings that "i fought the law" song, its great.

Hmm, "The Mahones" come to mind right away, there's also the "Dropkick Murphys."
Probably more, but those are the first two to pop into my head.

Dropkick Murphys
The Pogues (might be spelling that wrong) Hair of the Dog! They're a local Albany, NY band, but if you look hard enough, you might be able to find copies of their songs *ahem* They're fantastic. "Barley Moe" is specifically designed to drink an entire pint of Guinness during the song If you'd like any info on them, let me know!

http://www.hair-of-the-dog.com/ (the intro page has a bit of music going on, just as a warning)
They have a few songs available for download, which I didn't notice before. I recommend "MTA" and "One Sunday Morning"

The Electrics! They're sort of Christian/folky, but there are some GREAT drinking songs, like "Get to Heaven" and "The Whole Shebang."

Lesser known band called the Mudmen.
They're more Scottish (bagpipes) then Irish but very reminiscent of the Dropkick Murphys. Hell, my fave is a song called Drink & Fight! http://www.mudmen.ca/
