if you like Fourtet you should check out Fridge.
It's Kieren Hebden (aka Fourtet) and two other people who's names elude me at the moment.

No, I must have missed it, when was it? and I wonder where I could find a recording of it? Everlong is one of those songs you can't pinpoint why its good. Sure, it has a good beat, chord progression and vocals. But something makes it gel so well. Also, I was listening to that Foo Fighters album a lot when I was a senior in high school, so its very nostalgic to me.

Out of new stuff that should be heard, I'd say almost everything from From a Basement on the Hill by Elliot Smith, but if u can only choose ONE SONG, it should be: KING'S CROSSING .

An INCREDIBLE SONG....

follower of the child's crusade?

Sage Franics - Creack Pipes
Cage - The Ballad of Worms
Puressence - The Walking Dead
Tori Amos - Real Men
Xiu Xiu - Bunny Gamer

Those are five songs Im listening to right now, all very emotional and powerful

Parental Advisory on the Cage track though, it's pretty sick, probably one of the saddest most self disgusted songs Ive ever heard though.
