Any Phishheads Out There???
So now that the reign of phish as the kings of the jam band scene is over, who else do you listen to and who is going to fulfill your cravings for some live music in the future??? I can't wait to go see moe. in NYC over thanksgiving weekend...IMO they are the most energetic band in the jamband scene right now...share your thoughts and opinions...

Not a Phish phan. Didn't really hear about them until they were calling it quits. Would have liked to have heard them live though. I've heard good things about The String Cheese Incident but know nothing about them. I need to grab one of their shows sometime and have a listen.

The first time Phish ever heard the Electra release of Lawnboy was before the show at Trax in Charlottesville in a year that is pretty much obscured by overindulgence in intoxicants for me. They listen to it, bitched about how the title cut was slowed down, signed it and gave it back to me, and I continued humping Fish's drums to the stage.
I liked Phish. I have the albums up through Farmhouse. I am not, nor ever have been, a live music fan, though. I can enjoy their live stuff, but I much prefer studio (yes, I know, I just don't get it.)

I like Phish and saw them several times. Always a good gig. I was a Deadhead long before I was a Phishhead, though, so I am very happy that The Dead have started touring again. I have seen The Dead once, and was impressed. They sounded very good even though they needed two guitarists to fill Jerry's shoes... and still counldn't do it.
I have ticket to Moe for the end of the month. I have heard a couple of their bootlegs and am looking forward to seeing them live. Acoustic Syndicate is also very good. They are on the acoustic side with a definate Bluegrass influance.
