Gin and Juice (Relaxation Mix) - Who Peforms this mix?
A friend gave me a remix of "Gin and Juice" (originally Snoop Dog) where its a piano in the back ground and ocean waves break in the background - basically it sounds like cheesey relaxation tape.
The guy delivers a deadpan relaxation speach, just like a yoga instructor - only its the lyrics are word-for-word "Gin and Juice." It's SO funny! Can anyone tell me who does this song? I looked on www.allmusic.com, searched theses forums and looked everywhere. |

Perhaps Richard Cheese? There's a tiny, low quality video right here. He's known as "America's Loudest Lounge Singer", and his cover of Gin and Juice is on his third album, "I'd Like a Virgin".

Yeah, I thought it was Richard Cheese at first too. But it's not. Its like some old guy, and there are wave sounds in the background. From what I remember, there is no music at all, and if there is, its like crazy yoga spiritual music or something.

Phish does a good cover as well, but that's not the one he was talking about.

Well, it isn't on The Covers Project website, which only includes the aformentioned Gourds version (which is not Phish) and one by Sissy Bar, which has a female vocal. Coverville only has those two plus Richard Cheese.
Ooh, I'm getting closer. Found this quote: Quote:
