heartbreak songs
Hey guys I need some help,
I'm having a hard time getting over this guy so I decided the best way to aid my heartbreak is to make a burned cd of heartbreak and getting over you songs so if you all could give me some suggestions, I would love you all much. Thanks Amber

If you hate the guy might I suggest a little ditty called "This Bitter Pill" by Dashboard Confessional. It goes a little something like this...

If you still love the guy there's "Days" by the KINKS.
"Days Written by: R. D. Davies Published by: Davray Music/Carlin Music Corp. Lyrics: Thank you for the days, Those endless days, those sacred days you gave me. I'm thinking of the days, I won't forget a single day, believe me. I bless the light, I bless the light that lights on you believe me. And though you're gone, You're with me every single day, believe me. Days I'll remember all my life, Days when you can't see wrong from right. You took my life, But then I knew that very soon you'd leave me, But it's all right, Now I'm not frightened of this world, believe me. I wish today could be tomorrow, The night is dark, It just brings sorrow anyway. Thank you for the days, Those endless days, those sacred days you gave me. I'm thinking of the days, I won't forget a single day, believe me. Days I'll remember all my life, Days when you can't see wrong from right. You took my life, But then I knew that very soon you'd leave me, But it's all right, Now I'm not frightened of this world, believe me. Days. Thank you for the days, Those endless days, those sacred days you gave me. I'm thinking of the days, I won't forget a single day, believe me. I bless the light, I bless the light that shines on you believe me. And though you're gone, You're with me every single day, believe me. Days."

I just love people who use the excuse "I use/do this because I LOVE the feeling/joy/happiness it brings me" and expect you to be ok with that as you watch them destroy their life blindly following. My response is, "I like to put forks in an eletrical socket, just LOVE that feeling, can't ever get enough of it, so will you let me put this copper fork in that electric socket?" |

Michelle Branch's Goodbye to You
"Goodbye To You" Of all the things I've believed in I just want to get it over with Tears form behind my eyes But I do not cry Counting the days that pass me by I've been searching deep down in my soul Words that I'm hearing are starting to get old It feels like I'm starting all over again The last three years were just pretend And I said, [Chorus:] Goodbye to you Goodbye to everything that I knew You were the one I loved The one thing that I tried to hold on to The one thing that I tried to hold on to I still get lost in your eyes And it seems that I can't live a day without you Closing my eyes and you chase my thoughts away To a place where I am blinded by the light But it's not right [Chorus] And it hurts to want everything and nothing at the same time I want what's yours and I want what's mine I want you But I'm not giving in this time [Chorus x2] And when the stars fall I will lie awake You're my shooting star
