I haven't decided. I really want to go to OzzFest, and both are near the same date in Detroit. I picked up a cd sampler of all the bands on tour at Best Buy for 4.99, and there are a hell of a lot of bands playing. Not sure what one band I would want to see though. I go to watch bands I don't know.

I remember the one time that the Warped Tour came to Council Bluffs. It was fun, but they never returned.
Actually, it wasn't fun. It was over one hundred degrees outside, a styrofoam cup full of water cost $3, and I was on a perscription that made me photosensitive- burn easily. We arrived at eleven, and by five, I was throwing up and faint. My mother came to pick me up, but went to the wrong gate. I was looking for her when the drummer for Bad Religion came up to me and tapped me on the shoulder to tell me that my mom was outside the gates looking for me. She had gone to the band and crew entrance and just started knocking on trailers asking where I was. I didn't get to see Bad Religion, or Lagwagon, or any of the other bands I wanted to see. I would like to retry having a good Warped experience, but I don't want to deal with the drive, the tickets, and the heat. Maybe next year.

I'm definitely going!! Its coming to Vancouver, so not far for me to go. I'm mostly going to see Taking Back Sunday, Bad Religion, Rise Against, and NOFX. But there are a lot of others bands that I'm definitely going to check out! Can't wait! Only one more month....

Going to the Indy show b/c that's the closest show that NOFX and Alkaline Trio are playing. I'm also going to go to the Kentucky "Warped Tour Jr." show. It's the only show somewhat close to me that Senses Fail will be playing. They put on a great live show. If I miss any bands at the Indy show, I'll just go to the Cincy show to make sure I see all the bands that I want to see.
I'll be sure to check out Bear Vs. Shark in Indy. |

I might try going next year, when I have some vacation time and money saved up.
Plus, they usually switch the bands up each year, and I would have a chance to see either Rancid, or The Transplants, or maybe both. It just ain't happening this year.

I just got home for the one in Phoenix and it was AWESOME!
I saw soooooo many bands, my favorites in this order were: Authority Zero (AMMMMAAAAZING! they're from here though, but everyone should see these guys) Bad Religion New Found Glory Anti Flag The Vandals Executioners Flogging Molly Alkaline Trio ...every other band... Story of the Year (i can't stand this band... eh) anyway, it was great. it was hot as hell being phoenix (106), but the venue was great (Peoria Sports Complex, where they have spring training for Padres and Mariners), the people there were cool (whenever someone fell they got pulled up right away), everyone was singing along, the bands rocked, and it ran smoothly because they had 2 main stages next to eachother so when one band ended the next band could start. all in all, i got hit a few times by people who were crowd surfing, i got my shirt soaked in an undetermined cold beverage (think gatorade), and was in some INSANE moshes, but it was a blast. and the ticket+parking+3 waters+1 smoothy only cost about $50, so for seeing all those bands i think it was a great deal. |

Anti-Flag
Bad Religion Flogging Molly and Atmosphere those were the reasons I went and it was spectacular. I had been wanting to see Anti-Flag and Bad Religion for a really long time and it was amazing. It was over 100 I think there in Las Cruces but damn it was awesome. And you are right the pits were crazy as all hell. It was a fantastic time. new found glory I thought sucked so bad but my girlfriend had to see them. and Story of the Year blew. I lost respect for yellowcard because they seemingly lost all of their raw anger and are now geared towards young teenage girls. I think it was the best concert of my life

I'm definitely going to check it out this year. We don't get much around here in the way of concerts that I want to go see and there are about half a dozen artists on the line-up this year that I'd like to catch. Notably Atmosphere, Non-Phixion, Bad Religion, NOFX, Immortal Technique and maybe one or two others. I can't remember the complete line-up. Hopefully I won't roast under the sun.
