I just got done watching the VH1 special "The 50 most awesomely bad songs," and once the show was over, i realized i wasn't in a very good mood. i was mega bored, totally apathetic to what was going on around me, and i thought about it, and i'm like, "i feel raped." i wanted to be entertained by the bad music, but instead it made me feel like crap. but what should i expect?!?!?! i just got done listening to the WORST music ever!!!! man, VH1 should cancel showing that special again.

Whats next? "Top ten reasons why getting kicked in the throat is bad, now with in home demontsration!"

exactly! i mean, i read an article in the news a while ago that was the precursor to this show saying that "We Built This City" is the worst song ever. Okay, now i know. I DON'T NEED TO HEAR YOU PLAY THE GODDAMN SONG!!!! jeebus christ, i mean i have the lyrics in my head already!!!! gaaahhhh!!! must, clense, brain!!!!!

Channel 4 (a British station) did a 100 worst pop records a few months ago, and it was pretty hilarious to watch. It was clips of the songs, mixed with various minor celebs talking about them. It was pretty damn, funny, and I enjoyed it.

Check out VH1's 100 most metal moments instead. A much better view, and pretty entertaining if your'e into metal.

I thought 100 most metal moments was a total bore myself, and I enjoyed the "most awesomely bad" songs. I take great pleasure in goofy things that try to be serious, and I thought a lot of the commentary on the songs was pretty funny.

VH1 needs to calm down on the list shows. How much Mo Rocca and Dee Snider do we need every day?

Yeah seriously, the Snider family should be banned from TV. Dee is alright but just not entertaining and his son Jesse on MTV2 is one of the most annoying douchebags I've ever met (he lives near where I used to so I went to his school and whatnot).

According to my cousin who's 15, his other son Cody is a douche too.

Well, not entirely, but the problem is that you are only getting him in blips and soundbites. Dee was a morning DJ in Hartford* for a few years, and his show was some of the best radio I've ever heard.

I heard Meatloaf's Anything for Love was on that show! I'm sorr it's very cheesy and all but it rocks. Its immortally an awesomely bad ass song...lol

I guess being forced to listen to bad music puts me in a bad mood, but when the whole point of listening to it is to bitch about how horrible it is, its good stuff.

It's hard to believe that 10 years ago they were and MTV for old people who listened to things like Michael Bolton and Kenny G.

While some might thing that playing the songs during "100 worst songs ever" is a bad idea, there was more to it than that. It was actually pretty entertaining, IMO.

All those list shows are awesome and should continue! They will, too! They draw in crazy amounts of ratings for that channel.

It's better than what they were before. Would you rather watch videos of Yanni and Amy Grant as opposed to I Love the 70's/80's/90's? Not I!

that show was pretty lame. i watched it, and i was rather bored at the end. hell, its tv, not a rollercoaster---it was fine.

dee snider is laaaaaame.

he's got a nationally syndicated radio show, called "house of hair" or something like that, and its a sad pathetic joke (unless of course you actually like 80's hair metal, and like to listen to dee talk and make retarded jokes and comments)
