need advice: buying kid's guitar on ebay. - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

I remember an old thread - it probably vanished with the last verson of TFP - that discussed the best/cheapest way to buy an acoustic guitar for a little kid on ebay.

The thread mentioned a couple of ebay sellers and/or brands of very cheap acoustic guitars that would be good/fun for a very young kid. I have a 6 year old and a 3 year old. I want to get a "real" guitar but not some plastic toy. I want to spend very little because odds are that it will get wrecked in very short order (as everything does around my kids). Anyone have any leads?

There are student guitars you can buy that are cheaper. I've seen them in stores, but I dont' know how common they are on classified ads.

If I remember correctly a guy called esteban was selling a cheap acoustic on qvc for a while. I think the guitar was less than $100 so you might give it a try.
