want to make me a minidisc?
 

so i'm getting bored with my music. i go walking a lot, and i love to listen to music while i walk. i have a minidisc player and i want some new stuff.
i like a pretty diverse bunch of music. i like the mushy girly stuff, and rap, and dance, and country....there's not much i don't like.
for walking i guess i like stuff that's at least mildly upbeat, but if you have a song you think i'd like that's slower feel free to suggest that too.
i don't like heavy metal much, i don't generally like bands with screaming white kids wearing baggy pants and backward hats, and i don't like nickelback or anything like them.
to name a few artists i do like (i'll try to give a taste of some diversity): ani difranco, matt good (band), jay-z, dixie chicks, distillers, black eyed peas, esthero, avril lavigne, alanis, stuff off matrix reloaded cd...and if i mentioned someone and you wanted to recommend something by them feel free still.
i don't know if you'll want to bother to recommend some songs for me, but i thought you guys would be able to better than most.

thanks. i hope i get some more so i can make a full new minidisc, but for now i'll work on getting those on an existant one. i'm surprised more people don't want to pass on their musical knowledge.
