Some weird plugin, but it should be fine. So in this video, Britney Spears has decided to kill herself. MTV, however, is censoring this video.

Over the weekend, Spears shelved plans for a video in which she drowns herself in a bathtub after escaping a pack of paparazzi who are chasing her after witnessing a booze-fueled battle with a boyfriend. According to the statement, 'Early treatments for Britney Spears' 'Everytime' video were unfortunately released to the media. Britney Spears was uncomfortable with these treatments due to the potential for a fictional accidental occurrence to be misinterpreted as a suicide. Accordingly, Ms. Spears revised the treatment to ensure the video for 'Everytime' will not have a scene in it that could in any way be perceived as a reference to a suicide.'

The problem is it dosn't show well what she died of.

WHy would anyone in their right mind censor that? I would pay good money to watch that tart off herself.

i heard the original video concept was for her to commit suicide, which i guess would at least minorly relate to the song. but then they decided instead to shoot this safer one about reincarnation. however, a bunch of people still think it's suicide because of the rumors from the first idea and the stupid kabala thing on her wrist. i think the video is really dumb. i especially like how half of it is just them throwing shit around the apartement out of nowhere.

I saw that shit on MTV last night, course it was around 2, but still. It was the exact same video in the link above. Maybe I am just retarted, but where is the 'origional' video? Anyone have a link to that? And if the link above IS the origional filmed one (not the storyboard or whatever) what is all the fuss about it being censored?

I saw this 4 times today on MTV. I watch far to much MTV when I'm home sick....

Is that why that video isnt on anymore? I dont like Incubus, but when I saw that video I couldnt help but give them props for a great, origional video. Besides, they made Hitler look like those flying rats of the Quizno's commercials.

Yea, they censored it because it was controversial or something. I thought it was a damn good video, and yea, highly unique.. But that's MTV for ya.
