Cheesy songs of the 80's cd

I'm putting together of compilation of the cheesiest and (somewhat) popular songs of the 80's.

My first three suggestions are Mr. Roboto, I Think I'm Turning Japanese, and Baby Got Back.

why limit yourself to the 80s. there have been thousands of cheesy-assed hits since the dawn of recorded music.

Rico Suave was also the name of the guy who did that song.

If ya want cheesy, ya gotta have Maneater by Hall and Oates on there.

Rico Suave was by Gerardo, and it wasn't in the 80s. It was close, though: 1991

I actually went to high school with that guy. I didn't know him though. He was a senior and I was a sophomore. Seemed like kind of a prick. He was also in the movie "Can't Buy Me Love".

Dear Lord why do I know so much about Gerardo? I'm going to crawl under a rock now.

As a child of the 80's I have many fond memories of some of the songs that are being mentioned.

I can't believe some of them are on your list. But, I guess I see them from a different perspective.

From someone who went to high school during that era, let me add some you may not have thought of:

Love Plus One - Haircut 100
Red Red Wine - UB40 (a Neil Diamond remake)
Kokomo - The Beach Boys
Pretty much everything Ozzy did after Blizzard of Oz (R.I.P. Randy Rhodes)
Kiss Me Deadly - Lita Ford
Close My Eyes Forever - Lita and Ozzy
Everything Poison did
The start of the "Boy Bands" New Kids, Color Me Badd, Menudo, New Edition, Boyz II Men, etc...

The worst of thre 80's was probably Timbuk 3's "The Future's So Bright (I Gotta Wear Shades)", Escape Club's "Wild Wild West" and Corey Hart's "Sunglasses at Night"
